For me, knowledge, image, charisma...

Knowledge - You have to know what you're doing and make good decisions.
Image - It's all about how you're presented, what you represent and the impression you leave.
Charisma - Rare attribute that few have, if you don't got charisma, you'll have trouble selling anything whether it's an idea, concept, product, etc.

The fact that looks and image actually matter nowdays shows how much our world today is going downhill. :(

Wisdom is by far the most important on the list (or SHOULD be), knowledge second, and I guess personality third though that depends, can either be extremely important or insignificant according to the situation.

Here are three:
--Reliability. If you said you'll do it, you'd better do it.
--Communication ability. Persuasiveness, spelling (yes!), typing, et al.
--Integrity. If you're a cheater, people will eventually find out.

Three personal qualities that will bring one great success in life (in all it's facets)...

- Personality (emotional intelligence, ethics, spiritual, knows self, balance/composure, not afraid to ask for help)

- Knowledge (book smarts, street smarts, wisdom/tacit knowledge, current events/trends)

- Other - Creativity (thinks outside the box, takes calculated risks)

What makes a person successful?

-Insisting not to listen to others when they say you "cant" do anything.

-Always thinking of yourself first.

-Being good with money.

So I guess that would be:

Personality (perseverance)
Selfishness?!
Wisdom

Location, Location and Location..... well, we speak about people, um...
- Image (the most important)
- Knowledge (just to not lose your image)
and Charisma because no image without charisma in negative

In general your idea/product must be good, and you need to be good at selling it, both of equal importance. As far as this poll goes, I'd say that knowledge and how to use it is the most important factor. I've seen ugly blokes doing real wll simply they had their network (as in knowing who is who) al sorted out. There is always some luck involved, but professionals know ways on how to beat the odds.

Personality - In particular, are you driven? Do you like yourself, other people, and do other people like you, can you relate, etc.?

Wisdom - AKA Common Sense. This is indispensible, and should not be confused with Knowledge, although you should have a lot of knowledge too, but even a genius can be a failure without common sense.

Charisma - Ability to lead, inspire, motivate, envigor, and build morale among other people, get people onside, get people's respect, this in combination with common sense leaves you with low chance of failure. It might still fail because you're too different or perhaps too indifferent, these would be safeguarded against by Personality. If you still fail, the idea must have been horrible.

A person is successful when he has made the most of his life, whatever it may be.

Money,

However much you may want to object to that, in the end most peoples main goal is to make Money! Why do people go into business? There not forced to. Some like it but most like it because they make $$$$

Think about it
