The "Quartier 206", part of the "Friedrichstadt Passagen" - a shopping center
in Friedrich Street - was designed by architecture office "Pei Cobb Freed &
Partners", which also created the design of the "Bank of China", Hongkong or
the Louvre Pyramids, Paris. Leading architect, in this case, was Henry N.
Cobb. Though this shopping center can - of course - not be compared with
those above-named landmarks, it does also reflect the office's style.

Since 1996, the very luxurious interior with marmoreal floors, offering a variety
of boutiques and fashion stores, attracts upper- and middle-class people for
a shopping tour.

The elaborate illumination adds its very own charme to the nocturnal
Friedrich Street.

It looks good on the pictures but I don't think it would 'extremely' catch my eye if I just walked by... 6.5/10

9/10 If you are going to build a "shopping center," then that's is definitely what it should strive to look like. I especially like the glass ceiling. However, it doesn't seem to have many tenants/stores or customers.

The idea to design the facade like an accordion is a nice idea and it's illuminated great in the dark, it also fits good in the street, but there's missing something to mix the whole area up a little bit. Well, the inside is pure Las Vegas Trash that caresses the eye just for two minutes.
