If I'm not wrong this is a very little city (for Chinese standards). A little weird location for such project. As crazy as Huaxi supertall.

I once saw something on tv about Tongren. About people in the country side that came to the city for healtcare but coudn't afford it. Anyway nice tower :) and the name looks like a small city in my country called Tongeren :D

The city's Wikipedia page has almost zero content, only that the population is 340,000, which is quite small for a 268m skyscraper.
