View Full Version : How far will sims travel to get to work? usernames suck September 3rd, 2004, 07:48 PM I'm trying to create one huge central city, but just wondering how far the sims are willing to travel to get to work. Style™ September 3rd, 2004, 09:30 PM depends on how much traffic there is on the roads generally. usernames suck September 4th, 2004, 03:20 AM how about a no traffic (green) highway? Fabio September 8th, 2004, 08:08 PM they will only go far if they can't find jobs nearby, and an example: if you have a sims who has a nearby job and they lost their jobs, they will be unemployed because they have the predisposition to work only nearby, so some sims have predisposal to work far from their homes and other don't it doesn't matter what you do, finally if you move the jobs to another city it will take sometime to change the sims who live in your city (residencial). If you give a better look you'll see that cities only with residencial areas will be much more difficult to find people unenployed, because they already have the predisposal to work far from their houses. I hope it could help. |
