Never heard of this city before. Is it in Northern Guangdong Province or Southern?

Thats a city i've never heard or seen anything from before. The city looks very beautiful, would be a beautiful place for a nice skyline, with those mountains behind the city. But the city is also very beautiful with its size today. :)

Btw, how large is the population in the city?

Meizhou City is situated in the northeast of Guangdong Province, bordering on Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces. It was named for its plum blossoms. It exercises jurisdiction over six counties-Meijiang District, Meixian County, Dapu, Fengshun, Wuhua, Pingyuan, Jiaoling, and mandate of Xingning City. The city has a population on 237 800 (1.1.2002).

The city is as many other chinese cities in changing, and the city developers is planning many new projects around the city.
