I've been told becoming a pusher is a popular part-time job among students.

I saw this scene on a commercial for the 2003 rugby world cup, it's kinda pretty cool i think.
This amount of crowd happens in HK as well, but the so called pushers in HK dun push, they use a microphone to tell people not to push in and wait for another subway which will come in 20 secconds.
For girls, i think it's always better to avoid these situations, i have some friends from japan whose been molested on train by old japanese guys...
and i heard from another friend... some guys even get wet on the trains....

Heck, what if you have to come out a station and you can`t get through? This is ridiculous.if you need to get home then you need to get home.. if you need to get to work on time, you need to get there on time; so theres no issue of "what happens if i want to get out": if its your stop, u just push ur way thru (obviously saying "sorry sorry sorry" simltaneously)
This is a pic of the LAST train in the timetable; this is all these poor souls' only chance of goin home the same day LOL.. look at the desperation!!

Believe me i've been in spots like that before, with desperate people shouting "move down there's plenty of space" LOL push your way in... then barge ur way through. Just yesterday i had to come home in a train packed EXACTLY like that
look! (the red are exterior of the train doors)

Usually people are pretty good if your stop is next. Also, I've never been in that situation luckily, nor have I ever seen it that crowded.
