I've been searching everywhere to find

a) a terrain editting mod that lets you precisely edit each individal tile, circa simcity 2000 and 3000.

b) trying my darnest to find a underground tunnel tutorial - i had found some earlier in the year, but they have dissappeared! :cry: I really want to be able to make underpasses before I build a lot, it will help me build my city in a more efficient manner!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I'll even fly down there and reformat your hard drive! :D (yeah, right! :P)

go to ST and download the "tunnel digger lots" they help you to dig the PERFECT tunnels without fail.

If you need to precisely level terrain without destroying a tunnel entrance, just use individual road plots.

Raise land to desired length, place tunnel, level land. Be sure not to destroy the entrance when you do so.

1. Go to the area where you want the tunnel built.

2. Evenly elevate the terrain along a straight path in which the tunnel will extend.

3. Create the tunnel through the elevated terrain.

4. Level the elevated terrain, but be cautious about destroying the tunnel entrance.

5. To evenly level land surrounding the tunnel entrance, place individual road sections from leveled land to elevated land.
Using the road tool to force level the terrain is precice and prevents accidental destruction.

6. Eventually, the tunnel entrance will rest on a perfectly even hill.
