The picture you posted shows CMC in the background and Summit area in the foreground (roundabout). Ayat would have been just to the right of the pictured area.

By the way, does anyone know if that roundabout is going to have an overpass?....

At the completion of our current PHASE II development, AYAT Mender will have:

Grand Shopping Center
Fully-Equipped Modern Hospital
High Standard High School
High Standard University College
Sports and Entertainment Venues
Mortgage Backed
AYAT also plans to have a complete range of services for its well established community. It will provide access to Postal, Fire control and safety, security and such other essential services.

The timing of this thread, it can't get any better... can it.

I am afraid Ayat is a dead case and most of what you have listed above have remained just a dream and there is no sign of them coming any time soon. I have a friend who has been caught-up by this dream and damped all his life saving on quit a few units of the shopping mall, and it is only 5 years overdue..oh yeh, no one knows if it is going to continue...even better, they are talking of refunding the exact Ethiopian birr he paid 6 years ago.(with 3% interest may be)...how about that?

Im thinking of asking yosef to change the name of this thread to "Suburban Developments in Ethiopian cities" so this thread can grow larger and be more informative. Havent quite made up my mind to see if this is a good idea though. What do you all think?

Hi Everyone

Does anyone have any concrete details about the second phase?
How quickly are they moving?
What kinds of prices are they asking?
Are they offering financing?

Apparently what they promise on their website in terms of size, price and finishing is NOT the same.
