Smack bang in the CBD, this thing is there for all to see, it really sticks out amongst Welly skyline photos.

In Chch, the R&R Sport building on the corner of Colombo and Lichfield.

It's not flushed with the other buildings: notice the exposed red brick wall of the next building down. That isn't a lane - the front building is right up against the one behind, it's just recessed 1.7m from the street. I don't know what the designers were thinking.

Yes!!! :lol: I use to look at that building everyday, as my Victoria Uni hostel St. George common room looked down Willis Street. Its so ugly, there are a few of those types in the CBD though. The Brother building on the terrace and the Cumberland Ustay hostel is quite ugly as well. Dam the early 80s!

Wasn't that the old wool board building, there are some more ugly ones on the terrace I reckon.

Only one hideous bulking piece of crap in Christchurch that I can think of. Rebel Sports on Moorhouse and Colombo. Completely destroys that corner.
