Hi,
I was wondering how many of you are students, and what you are doing. :)
Im about to start Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham (see www.nottingham.ac.uk for details). The 4 year course will enable me to go on to be a chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. Im considering spending my third year in France. My main interest lies in mass transportation systems. :bash: Inpirations include Brunels Great Western line between London and Bristol (now a very bog standard railway line, but the genius of the man at the time is inspirational, he seemed to manage everything), the channel tunnel, and the supertalls of the world. I also have a bizarre facination with cathedrals, particularly the likes of Wells in Somerset, and Ely in Norfolk.
