I would love to see pictures of Bungalows and Villas or any house from the typical middle class or upper class neighborhoods of Egypt

I suspect this should be an interesting outlook on how the 30% live

Anyone?

urm, most Egyptians live in apartment and towers. but there still some of the populations do live in villas and house. especially after the rapid increase of suburb near Cairo and Alexandria.

Wait for my next posts with the pictures :)

@mwinyi did you read my second post? Low income housing O_O how is that a "wealthy neighborhood" If you want more of those low income houses let me know. BTW from that post of yours why do I get the feeling that your intention from this thread is to bash Egypt? if you want to see the worst I'll show you and go away, never come back.

How can I bash Egypt while I was at Trafalgar Quare in support of the Revolution?

My 25th January posts speaks for themselves

I have friends who went to School in Egypt and some migrated there and I'm even interested in doing business with Egyptians!

My affection runs even deep when I grew up listening to Tajuweed by Abdel Basit and of course when we got home Umm Kulthum was always on the radio, and guess what I was always torn btn Arab Contractors and Zamalek..went to Uni and did my dissertation on Ikhwana and of course reading Milestones by Qutb was obligatory. So how can I hate or bash Masr?

(btw that Alexander Siddig film called CAIRO was crap, even though it had some good soundtrack of the old Egyptian songs)

All I'm saying is the media in the west shows us nothing but Pyramids, violence, corruption and of course houses that look nothing than Favelas. So I thought why not start a thread that will also show the other side of Masr ..you know the wealthy residential and so on

Its all in good faith

Ohh the houses in second pic, I wouldnt call them low cost but rather affordable housing

I'm more interested to see how the other small percentage of the population live...l mean areas such as the Kensington, Chelsea and Bel Air versions of Egypt..which I suppose for Cairo would be Zamalek, Heliopolis, and Maadie
