Greetings!

I have a friend who has lived in Japan most of her life, and has been telling me about Sakuragicho [for it's futuristic/modern designs] ....

... but I'm unable to find photos of this area online....

....... does anyone have any [good] photos?

Any help would be great !!!

sakurigacho is the station based in the minato mirai section of yokohama.

i have posts of the landmark tower and the surroundings of sakurigacho in my tokyo thread. its a wonderful example of city planning,

It was supposed to be very futuristic . . . in 1994 when it was being built. Minato Mirai 21 literally translates to Future Port 21 (21 being the 21st century). It's not so futuristic anymore, but it still kicks ass - it's one of my favorite places in Japan.
