The beautiful two-storey building featured in the Addis Ababa City Map above is located in Kazanchis Menahrya area.It dates back to the 1920s where it was the residence of Fitawrari Atnaf Seged.Currently it is hosting Yelebe Fana Primary school.
According to local informants, the house was built by an Indian architect, Woli Mohammed, who gave his cultural print to building style. It is a critical period for the complex if it is to be preserved and reused.

This building used to be the fascist party headquarters during the Italian occupation. I bought this really cool book about Addis architecture when i was in Addis last year. I highly recommend it.
