Now that Athens 2004 is over. The spot light will turn to Beijing in 2008. Can Beijing stage a mammoth of Olympics? Could those of you who are well informed please keep us up to date on Beijing's Olympic preparations.

They showed renderings of the new venues they will built of the 15 major olympic complex they currently scrapped 5 so what is going on is still uknown.

Beijing has 37 venues (12 permanent, 11 existing, 8 temporary, 6 located outside the city), an olympic village, a third airport terminal, 8 subway lines, and an improvement to the Central Business District for the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Whatever they are planning, i just hope Zhangyimou wont embarrass us big time like he did in athenes.
