Gotenks, I think you are referring to Newport Beach, I believe is the town featured in the OC>fact I think it is actually filmed in LA suburb of Manhattan Beach or Marina del Rey.

I stayed at my friend's place for a week the last week before summer vacation was over and I almost cried when I left Laguna :D and it was just a street away from the beach so it was sooo fun. It was almost like your own private beach
