I of all people want people to be South African first and foremost... but you cannot in a democratic society expect people to forget where they come from. If Afrikaners, Xhosas or Coloureds, whomever, want to be proud of their heritage, there's nothing wrong with that.

You make a good point about the black american part. But categorizing people by race will always make south africans a racial consious society, I look at a country like brazil and you can't even compare south africa to brazil, nobody cares about you being mullato or coloured or black or white, and nowhere its more represented but on their football team, south africa still have the problem of uniting all south africans with their sports, rugby is still majority white same with cricket, soccer is majority black.

I see all the constant blaming of the ANC, but if the DA succeed to presidency these problems will be fixed?

There should be economic empowerment for ALL people irrespective to skin color. Yet, the original problem of Apartheid is the genesis of the stratification now seen in South Africa today. Still, 60% of Blacks in South Africa are living in poverty - a number that is at least five times the numbers of whites in similar conditions. To bring balance to the scales adjustments must be made that initially may seem to be out of balance.

Maybe I should drink more. Threads like this would make a lot more sense. Please use smaller words. The thing is that most of the people reading the crap you're writing can understand the words you're using, but I'm not sure that you fully understand what you are saying yourself.
