This new tower was approved by the end of last year. It will be located close the Brussels North train station.

Current situation

Nog wat recente plaatjes van het Sint-Lazarus'plein' en omgeving.
De afbraakwerken aan het bestaande kantoorgebouw schieten niet echt op. Het lijkt me eerder of ze het destijds enkel ontmanteld hebben om asielzoekers en andere krakers te weren.

The actual height isn't known yet but it will be close to 110 meters. Also it's not clear when construction will start...

And it's not boxy, fat or flat roof :) Unfortunatly it's not tall enough to stand out in this dense area. If it were 200m it could raise the whole skyline the same way First done for La Dèfense.

Indeed. If he was somewhat higher than the nearby Dexia-tower, it would have been perfect, both for the tower and for the skyline.
By the way: the old, dismanteled building is still standing... :(

Looks like it will be built on a very small plot. Quite tricky with all the traffic moving around. :)

nice atmospheric view of an amazing city, i like this combination of high quality new architecture and old run-down buildings, but in general I like the non-uniform appearance of Brussels. And then there are a lot of historical, monumental buildings. Very special mix.
