Akko has a lot of potential (the crusade and ottoman sites, the bahaii gardens, the harbor and so one). If anyone at the ministry of tourism had half a brain, the city could have been a huge attraction.

Anyway, clarification to whoever is wondering why it was taken: The mud track on the right is the site of the new straightened railway line. The line to the west (nearer to the sea) will be dismantled when the new one is completed. It should reduce travel time to Akko by a couple minutes, as well as clear up valuable space close to the sea.
