Hello... the only information that we have as of the moment is that the construction of the first building (6 Storey) and the Clubhouse will commence this April 2011... Groundbreaking of the said development was last March 5... Units are already available for reservation and for purchase. Turn Over date for the first Building will be 3rd Quarter of 2012... Construction of the 2nd (6 Storey) Building will commence later this year and the Third (6 Storey) Building will commence construction depending on the demand of the Market... Completion date of the entire Hi Residences Development will be around 2015 so that is 4 years from now... We just hope here in Bacolod that this project will be a hit to Estates Investors/Buyers so that more projects of this Magnitude and Kind will grow in our beloved city...

A 3.6-hectare planned condominium and commercial complex will soon rise along the eastern portion of Bacolod City.

Businessman Vladimir Gonzalez said they launched Saturday the Hi Residences Condominium that will be constructed at Burgos Extension, Bacolod City (across the Villa Angela Subdivision) that will be composed of nine building with amenities.

The buildings vary in height from five-storeys, seven, nine and 12-storeys, he said, adding that it is a controlled community with a total of 1,727 units.

“Outside it is a commercial complex that will supplement our development inside. There will be a restaurant and some other commercial establishments,” he added.

Gonzalez said the construction of the first condominium building will start in April together with the clubhouse. They will deliver the first tower by October 2012, he said.

The buyers of the first condo tower will get to enjoy the amenities like the pool, clubhouse, the gym, wi-fi zone, 24-hour security and many others, Gonzalez said.

“This is the first kind in Bacolod where we can say now we are ready for a modern, practical and secured living,” he said.

It is near the government center, offices, call centers, department stores, he added.

Gonzalez said their units are very affordable and they have packages that are less than P300 a day. They are offering a five percent promo discount for Tower One until March 31 and that almost 80 percent of the units are sold out, he said.

Residents of Hi Residences will be able to enjoy leisure, recreation activities, and parties in central amenities block which will have the clubhouse, game room and function hall, a press release said.

The residents’ children will have fun time taking a dip in the kiddie pool while adults will be able to soak and relax in the main pool, it said.*CGS

I've now got the info here for HI Residences....was going to compare to Horizon tower -- but the thread for that condo has been closed ?

Couple of questions;

A -- Is this location any good ?

B -- What are the interiors going to look like ?

C -- IS it likely they can sell all the units (or a large amount) or will there be some units unoccupied due to low demand?

D -- Whats the general opinion of growth here -- will the apartment rise in value ? Also whats the estimated rental yield ?

Negros Museum. La Salle Museum. Manokan Country. Lupit Church. Our Lady of Snows( Huaming Church ). Across Huaming is Kuppa. Art District ~ good to visit at night. Sta Fe Resort.

You can have them go further within Metro Bacolod ~ Silay City (City Center, where you can find the Preserved Legacy of Hacienda Life) and Talisay City, Natures Village Resort, If you wish to go up in the mountains to trek.

basta ako, i would rather go for hi-residences because it offers a comfy living with all the amenities you can think of right at your doorstep. horizon tower for me is good if you're a frequent traveler to the other island or if you have a business in the bredco area. if a view of the sunset by the bay thrills you, then go for horizon tower. hehe

^^good to know that BPO spaces are also available in the area. medyo under-rated ang hi-residences as compared to much publicized Ayala, SM or Robs pero how they envision the development of the area is at par with these big names in the industry.

nope, this is just the 5 story condo...last yung 16 floors... its by phase...pagnatapos ang building one, they will start with building 2 but i guess, they are building it now...then so on and so forth :)
