Taiwan has been good to me, and I intend to reciprocate. I pay 6% tax. Inflation is 2%. 0.5% bank charges. I can walk home at 3am after pub, or take a taxi, bus or underground train at 6am; around the clock alcohol at any shop; people call you if you lose your cellphone or wallet (which happened to a friend).
