ISG, THAT was Great, I like the movement of the Camera, Fantastic Site, I went by the Building site today and their pouring the 28TH FLOOR , and this 35 story BLUE TOWER will be at a Height of 405 FEET according to the men there. ITS GOING TO BE ALL 100 % BLUE GLASS, ITS THE FUTURE OF MIAMI, HERE NOW !!!

OKAY MEN and Any Women :) , BLUE CONDOS has Started Pouring Concrete on the 35th FLOOR as of TODAY, MONDAY Oct. 25th, 2004, NOW Starts the CURVE Upwards Towards the EAST to the TOP OFF :) , This will be Very Interesting watching the BLUE Glass windows cover the TOWER to the TOP, all Blue, Wow !!! :cheers:

Anyone , Driving Around DOWNTOWN MIAMI, CAN NOTICE the TOPPING OFF of the BLUE CONDO TOWER in Midtown MIAMI, ITS A BIG CURVE to the EAST , the TOP I'm Talking About, Check it out, I seen it This Morning, Saturday, OCT.30th, ITS Fantastic, The Curve to the TOP is Awesome.

EVERYONE !!! :) , There's a HUGE PALM TREE on top of the BLUE CONDO TOWER, Topped OFF time as we speak, You Have to see This Palm Tree this week, SO go by and see it at the top of the Tower. The FIRST of the Newsest high rises for the Miami Design District Area, This Tower is the One that started this area, and its going to be strong for at least another 5 years, WOW !! :cheers:

I love the Blue tower. I wish downtown would have nabbed this design but hey it still looks great. I love the night renderings and the thin blue laser that will project from the tip...

TRUE 1 and ONLY CUBAN :) , There will be More buildings like BLUE CONDO TOWER, Especially ONE MIAMI. These two towers WILL Make MIAMI SHINE, and the Colors will Shine with the Towers, Brickell on the River Tower will also Shine, with the IVY on the River Condo Tower will shine at its BEST two and a half years from now. :cheers:

Everyone :) , The BLUE CONDO TOWER, is putting the Finishing touches on the TOP of the tower as it reaches its height of over 400 feet, You can see the Blue glass windows going up the side walls to the top, 6 months from now, :) Residents will start moving in, I say around May-June, 2005. :cheers:

isg, try the wachovia webcam. you can get a decent look at the south side of blue with it. just zoom in the direction of blue (north) & you should see it.

Can anyone think of any reason why they chose to paint the Hamilton on the Bay (that building in the foreground in front of Blue) that god-awful grey-blue color? At first I thought it was under renovation and they would be applying another coat later, but its been that color for like a year now.

That Hamilton need to be torn down. Listen, Biscayne in Miami and Collins in MB, if developed properly could easily beat the streetscape/skyline in Chicago on Lake Shore Drive and Michigan Avenue. Do that, and this town is definitely world class. Blue, Ice, Ice II, Onyx, Onyx II, etc. will help make that happen. Miami Beach's height limit will hurt them in the long run.

is it me or does everytime the superbowl rolls into town,something good seems to happen to miami.unfortunatly the same can't be said for new orleans.

We had the overtown and liberty city riots when the Superbowl was here in 1989.

1992 was a bad one
1993-1997 we did alot of cleaning house with crime
1998 most of these projects started to go before hearing boards
1999-2000 first project that would have started the boom went haywire when they found the miami circle
2000-2001 related group works on first of god knows how many redesigns for one miami in brickell four seasons is breaking ground and going vertical
next few years are very bright
2007 superbowl in miami dolphins have improved thier game and are potential contenders (ok last one is a bit off but a prediction ill bet a dollar on)

No i mean the bad 1989 riots that cancelled some Heat games at the Miami arena, lasted like a week, and it was all about 3 weeks before the superbowl.

TRUE :) , Uptown-Midtown :) , ARIA Condo Tower had a Heart=Attack, But there's a PACE MAKER Installed on the SITE and soon it will begin again, the Fence Has been taken down and Clearing is Happening NOW. I'll have to drive by there again the week after next to see if the Heart starts Ticking, LOL. :cheers:

i agree. let's take it easy but at the same time when I started coming to this forum, everybody seemed to contribute really good information, pics, and construction reports . Now it is a pain in the ass to go through all the meaningless banter to find truely good posts with good info.

i have no problem with chuck's enthusiasm. none at all. & i realize that he was out of town for a week. but resurrecting that many threads without adding much of anything to them serves no purpose, so i thought this would be a good time to say something about the direction of this board.

again, nothing personal at all, chuck. i just think we need to do a better job of organizing ourselves, especially since each thread has a 500 post limit.

Why don't we just stick to the 3 or 4 Miami = yadda,yadda threads and the occasional photo essay thread?? Lets just make it official instead of saying we should. Put a sticky on the Downtown Miami Project rundown thread and maybe rename it: Miami Newbies-Read Before Posting!!

This would benefit everyone. It would be considerate to the other Florida forumers, it would be beneficial for newbies, and it would be more convenient for the regular Miami forumers so that they wouldn't have to fish throught dozens of threads for info..
