Thanks for the updates. If Im not mistaken, this may be the first kind of hotel from Ayala to open. There are write ups na this will be the second after here in Global City, but I havent seen such project being constructed yet. I was jogging early this morning and ni isang trapal or tarp like this, wala. Unless, if wala sa prime area ng the fort, pero promise never seen such project here in global. Or probably inuna lang ininstall ang tarp jan sa davao. :lol:But anyway, though it aint that big and grand compared to other existing hotels of ayala (considering that this is their new brand), im excited for this hotel.

Go Hotel will also be constructing one in Davao soon, pero im not excited with Go Hotel. :lol:

I'm sure this Go Hotel is similar to the new trend upper class backpacker hotel like the ones in Singapore,Australia and NZ.Stylish but most rooms have no windows.They do tricks by using lightings and lots of mirrors.

Had Intercontinental Hotels kept Insular Hotel,it would still be the best hotel in Davao.Resort hotels are always considered more luxurious and are usually in 4 or 5 star category.I notice though that the Sheraton group have more resort hotels than Intercontinental.

Getting well from being sick.HK is great,shopping was great.HK and Macau is now filled with skyscrapers as far as the eye can see but wait,you will have trouble looking at their skyscrapers during the day as both these cities are blanketed with smog most days-so my asthma went on overdrive.:)

baka magshare sila ng basement parking.imo it will be practical and cheaper to do it this way.

But I think the hotel will occupy the mall basement parking thru a tunnel..IMO lang..

Busy sila sa site... They keep digging even at night.....
