I will be excited to try out this hotel when they finish. CDO has had a plethora of substandard hotels for years. It's about time they offered some real nice options. Between the Kukun and the Riviera plus whatever LKK has up their sleeve, there will be no problems choosing.

Ayala Land’s mixed use development project in Cagayan de Oro City has taken shape significantly.

It is now clear that the building line will not follow the property line in a particular degree. This is basically a design to acommodate a driveway or drop off point which is planned along Corrales Avenue. I can also assume an entry point for the basement parking along Corrales Avenue as shown in one of the pictures below taken today.

Kukun Hotel is now on its 6th level (8th from street level) with steel bars protruding 2 more floors up. Hotels near malls are very profitable in Cagayan de Oro City citing Pearlmont Inn and Mallberry Suites as having high occupancy rates. Kukun Hotel will not be different as the building itself is on top of the 3-level mall.

ayala has become a household name. maybe theyre working double time so that they could have a soft opening by august 2012. the city's fiesta is by august and sales tend to be on its peak by that time excluding december of course.

i passed by kukun about an hour agO. i seem to notice that theyre about to top off. last floor naning ilang gitrabaho karon.

If you look at it from the south, murag naa pa one more floor... Look at the latest rendering... Naay 9th floor na unique-looking compared to floor 2 to 8... The pics I took the other day also suggest there might be another floor... If sundon nilaang naa sa rendering, naa pay ika-9th floor... Klaro ni sa illustration ni Boju (see below)... I might be wrong though... :okay:

naka notice mo, wala gi finishing ang hollow block walls, ang wire mesh-cement ra ang finishing ayha pa ang paint

basin asbestos na ilang gitaod pero gibali lang. naa may asbestos nga itaod sa kisami pra i-absorb ang init sa atop. ang gamit man gyud sa asbestos kay para ma-minus ang init or heat para malikayan ang sunog. naa may asbestos nga sinaw with styrofoam ang pikas nga side.
