Perhaps you guys can store images in other web-hosting sites such as www.photobucket.com - that site is great because it automatically resizes images which are too large to a maximum of 250 kb. you get 1 GB free space though. cheers.

Does anyone has any rendering on the hotel manhattan project? I see that the top of tt building is somewhat strangely shaped (the inside seems hollow), so i was wondering what're they up to

viewing deck? restaurant? grand open areas?

Pembangunan Blok A Dikebut

Pedagang Takut Dipindah
TANAH ABANG - Perkumpulan Pedagang Pasar Tanah Abang (P3TA) mendesak pemerintah untuk mempercepat pembangunan blok A Pasar Tanah Abang. Mereka ingin cepat-cepat menempati kios di blok A yang tadinya terbakar.

Kepada koran ini, juru bicara P3TA Rahmadi Roegani mengatakan, pihaknya tetap menolak dipindah ke lokasi penampungan yang baru. "Kami hanya mau pindah ke blok A, jadi kami minta pembangunannya segera diselesaikan," ujarnya.

Rahmadi menjelaskan, para pedagang semakin resah setelah beredar isu yang menyebutkan pemerintah sengaja mengulur penyelesaian pembangunan blok A agar punya alasan untuk memindah para pedagang.

"Jangan karena kepentingan elit pemerintah, kami pedagang kecil menjadi korban," katanya.

Secara terpisah, Kepala Manajemen Konstruksi Pembangunan blok A Pasar Tanah Abang Sawoko mengatakan, pihaknya telah melakukan percepatan pembangunan blok tersebut. "Kita ada kemajuan sekitar 15 persen dari rencana, mungkin akhir Februari 2005 konstruksi sudah selesai sehingga pedagang sudah bisa menempati blok A," katanya.

Sawoko menuturkan, mulai dari basement II, I, semi basement, lower, underground, lantai satu sampai lantai tujuh akan dipakai untuk kios. Di tiap lantai terdapat sekitar 680 hingga 690 kios sehingga seluruhnya berjumlah 8.386 kios.

Lantai delapan dan sembilan akan dipakai untuk food court dan lantai 10 sampai 14 untuk parkir dengan kapasitas tampung mencapai 1.500 mobil. Terakhir, lantai 15, dipakai untuk masjid dengan kapasitas 2.000 jamaah.

"Jadi, kalau pedagang dan pengunjung hendak solat, nggak perlu keluar dari blok A," kata Sawoko.

Blok A akan dilengkapi 143 unit eskalator, dipasang 12 unit di tiap lantai. Empat unit lift kapsul unit, empat unit lift campuran, dan delapan unit lift khusus barang.

Gedung senilai Rp 800 miliar itu dilengkapi sistem keamanan Building Operation System (BOS) yang berfungsi untuk memantau aktifitas mekanikal elektrik yang ada di gedung. Mulai dari aliran listrik, suhu udara, sampai lampu.

"Jadi, kalau ada lampu yang mati kita nggak perlu mendatangi setiap lantai. Dari ruang pemantauan BOS sudah ketahuan," katanya.

Luas total dari lahan 21 lantai blok A ini sekitar 154 ribu meter persegi dengan tapak bangunan 8.200 meter persegi. Untuk mengerjakan gedung ini, Kurniawan harus mengerahkan sekitar 3.000 pekerja yang terlibat dalam pengerjaan struktur serta arsitek bangunan.

"Kita akan bekerja 24 jam, sehingga pedagang tidak perlu cemas akan digusur oleh pemerintah," kata Sawoko.(fol/aro)

It consists of 2 tall towers ( i think 40-45 floor) and 2 medium tower (20-30) and 2 towers for Holiday Inn hotel, with Waterpark, Blue Oasis Mall.

ohh.. so they finally decided to go on with the construction of blue oasis..
cause I heard a lot of complaints from the residents around the area.. about how the whole project would cause flooding to the area cause it takes up the area that's supposed to be the a drainage area or something like that..

Govt, developer firm on new port

The Jakarta administration has vowed to go ahead with the construction of the new Jakarta port in spite of a legal dispute with state port operator Pelindo II about the project's legal status.

"We cannot wait ... We must quickly act to make our port more competitive in the region. Otherwise, we will be left behind. Besides, Jakarta has a strong legal basis to go ahead with the project," assistant to the city secretary for development affairs IGKG Suena said on Thursday.

Suena cited Law No. 34/1999 on the Jakarta administration, which he said gave the administration the authority to manage its own port.

Aan Slamet, the president director of port developer PT Marindo Bahtera, said his company was preparing an environmental impact analysis for the project.

"We hope to complete the analysis by January next year. So far, everything is on schedule," he told The Jakarta Post.

Marindo will wholly finance the project worth US$500 million, while the city will hold 5 percent of the shares.

The Jakarta administration and Pelindo II have been in a tug-of-war about the multipurpose commercial port since Pelindo II announced its plans to construct a similar integrated port in the same area.

Pelindo II said the authority to allow new ports in the city was in the hands of the State Minister of State Enterprises, who was authorized to create state-owned enterprises -- in this case Pelindo II -- based on Government Regulation No. 69/2001 on national ports.

The regulation, however, is currently the subject of a judicial review in the Constitutional Court.

In a discussion on Wednesday organized by the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Education and Information (LP3ES), Pelindo II's director of marketing and business development, Supadi, accused the Jakarta administration of inconsistency.

Supadi said the administration had given permission to Pelindo II to carry out a reclamation project in the area and let the company draft the master plan of the project.

Pelindo II, Supadi added, had also signed a loan agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency on March 31, 2004, to develop infrastructure at the Tanjung Priok port, the same area where the new port would be located.

Suena confirmed Supadi's statement the administration had allowed Pelindo II to reclaim the area for the port in a Memorandum of Understanding in the 1990s. "But the MOU has long expired. And Pelindo has never arranged to renew the agreement."

Meanwhile, Governor Sutiyoso offered on Wednesday an option for Pelindo II to become the port operator as a way out of the prolonged dispute. The state port operator had not responded to the offer on Thursday.

The new port, which will be equipped with a car terminal, multipurpose area, offices and a business center, is expected to be completed within six years. The project would apply Japanese technology to dredge the sea bed and reclaim 242 hectares of coastal area.

Environmentalists have opposed the plan because they said the reclamation project would further damage the ecosystem on Jakarta's northern coast

Adhi Karya gets $60m project
JAKARTA: State-owned construction company PT Adhi Karya announced on Friday that it had received a contract worth some US$60 million to construct Sheraton Batam Hotel & Tower.

In its report to the Jakarta Stock Exchange on Friday, the company said the contract would include physical works, such constructing the structure of the building, setting up electrical and mechanical systems, designing the blueprint, and providing furniture and other supporting equipment.

The company said the construction will take about 24 months, starting on Oct. 6 -- JP

I doubt it'll be tall.. cause knowing bali.. they dont really build tall skyscraper hotels.. ehehe most of them are like resorts and plus, the length of the construction is pretty short.... but hopefully this will be a tall one.

There is no height restriction in Batam. The tallest building in Batam is now Planet Hotel which is a 23 storey tower in Nagoya area.

The second tallest in Nagoya area is Melia batam which is at 17 floor.

There is also now a construction of a hotel in Batam that shapes like a big cruise ship by the harbor side.

Holiday Inn Batam in waterfront city area is also quite tall at around 20 storeys.

Have you ever wanted to live in the heart of the city but hesitated, imagining nothing but dingy little apartments on offer.

Would you jump at the chance if a serviced apartment with elegant furniture and neoclassical decorations was available for rent?

If that sounds like your idea of luxury, you should see for yourself Da Vinci Penthouse on Jl. Sudirman Kav.12., the only apartment building that faces the city's busiest street. But, be warned, there are only 28 apartments available for rent.

The apartments that occupy most of the 34-story Da Vinci Tower are a world away from the city below.

If it's silence you seek, you will be happy to hear that from morning until night not a sound can be heard from outside the apartment.

"The windows are triple glazed to reduce the noise from outside," said Da Vinci Penthouse general manager Anto W. Soemartono in a recent interview.

All 28 apartments are fully furnished with Da Vinci furniture, such as the Thomasville, Henredon, Vidal Grau and Capelletti collections.

Upon entering the building most visitors are struck by its luxurious interior. The lobby floor is marble, while the ceiling is decorated with carvings and hung with classical lamps. And, as you will find out for yourself, this is just the start -- it's luxury all the way up to floor 34.

A small library is located in front of the fully decorated lift that takes residents to their apartments.

Stepping out of the lift, you will face a huge decorated door. In the wall on the right side is a hidden compartment for shoes, or perhaps for golf clubs.

The decorated door, which was made by four different companies, is worth Rp 70 million. The foyer is furnished with many beautiful pieces, including a Rp 12.9-million lamp, a chair worth Rp 3.5 million and a mirror that would cost Rp 1.8 million were you to search for it in a shop.

Each apartment has one main bedroom and three smaller ones, all of which have en suites.

A shower capsule has been installed in each bathroom. The capsule is equipped with a digital device that enables one to listen to FM radio or answer the phone while showering. An automatic massage device is also available in the capsule.

Each bedroom has its own balcony, giving residents a great view of Jakarta.

There is also an air-conditioned room for a domestic helper.

Each apartment has three kitchens: the first is for cooking; the second, for washing vegetables; and the third for washing dishes.

Residents can also access the tennis court on the 11th floor, the swimming pool on the 10th, and the gym, jacuzzi, and sauna on the 9th floor.

Anto said the apartment's management could provide help for any resident who wanted to organize a dinner or barbecue with friends.

"We can even help them get airplane tickets, or a bodyguard if they should want one," he said.

Da Vinci Penthouse apartments cost between US$12,000 to $15,000 per month to rent (In comparison, one night in a five-star hotel's penthouse here costs between $4,000 and $5,000).

The rate depends on the size of the apartment, which range from 350 square meters to 380 sq m.

Catherien Nayoan, Da Vinci Penthouse's sales and marketing manager, is quick to deny that the apartments are too expensive as the target market is people accustomed to a certain standard of living who appreciate the arts.

"If you were to calculate the total value of the furnishings and home appliances, you would find the rent is not expensive," she said.

Since the opening of Da Vinci Penthouse on Feb. 22, three families are living in the apartments.

If you are interested in viewing the apartments, it would be advisable to make an appointment first.

The 34-story tower is 117 meters tall. The first to 12th floors are Da Vinci's showroom and the apartments are located from the 13th floor up.

Wow, you are smart. Actually it is Panzer Dragoon Saga (RPG). I just photoshopped some concept art into the logo (http://gr.bolt.com/games/saturn/rpg/panzer_dragoon_saga2.jpg). My friend gave me a copy of the game along with a Sega Saturn to play it on and I've been having a blast. Panzer Dragoon rocks!

I used to be a game freak myself, and as far as consoles are concerned, Sega Saturn was and is the best games console ever... Sure, it may not have done well in the market, but it really was the killer machine for me...Panzer Dragoon, Virtua Fighter, NiGHTS, Sega Rally, Daytona...fond memories indeed :D

I heard that Panzer Dragoon Saga is one of the best RPG ever created when it was released...I remember it getting rave reviews by EGM when it came out. Too bad the Saturn never reached mainstream appeal (in the US at least) and so the game was quickly forgotten...

Well Alvin, you and I certainly have very similar tastes. I used to be a game fanatic myself, but I no longer have the time or the money for it. The Sega Saturn was a really great console that still holds a fond place in my heart, but I consider its successor, the Sega Dreamcast, to be the greatest console of all time. Both have similar stories: the best software on the market but very little mass-market appeal.

As for Panzer Dragoon Saga, it is really good. Probably the 2nd or 3rd best RPG from last generation, but a little overrated by some. I think Chrono Cross was a little better. They only released around 75k copies in the US (something like that) so it costs about $150 to get a copy these days, but they copy I have is European.

Yep, I'm really nostalgic about the Saturn and Dreamcast. :( Well, time to move on...

Ah that Sega Saturn. The reason why i choose Sega saturn is because they have street fighter. I used to have dreamcast and saturn but Dreamcast has been the most console i played before PS2 is on the market. Sampoerna Tower's cancelled, replaced by Pacific Place Phase I (It was originall part of the Conrad Mixed-Use development in the same site).

Mega GLodok will be replaced by a single apartment tower, called "The View".

Alvin, Megaglodok is the one in front of Jakarta tower rite? If so, i dont think its going to be replaced, because from the rendering, the view will be on top of Mega glodok.

Yep, you're absolutely right. What I'm saying is that they've changed the plan from 2 35 storey towers into 1 tower of unknown height. But it seems like a bigger tower. For efficiency's sake , I believe.

Upon hearing that it was 8:00 a.m., Andi lazily woke up, drank a glass of water and put on sneakers.

"There is still time for me to go jogging. Meanwhile, you can prepare breakfast. There is no need for me to hurry, because we now live in the city's downtown," he told Neta, whom then prepared "Corn Flakes Mixed with Fruit Salad" and "Smoked Beef with Sweet Corn Salad" for breakfast.

The filmed-conversation between Andi and Neta played during a media gathering tries to portray how a couple can enjoy their togetherness in crowded Jakarta. They can spend more time together because they live in the 18th Residence Taman Rasuna on Jl. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

The 18th Residence Taman Rasuna was officially launched on May 19, 2005. It was designed to meet the needs of young professional executives with high mobility.

Having two towers, the apartment will stand on 6,000 square meters of land in the "golden triangle" area of Kuningan, South Jakarta. Each tower will have 375 apartments.

It is close to Jakarta's business district of Mega Kuningan, the embassy district, and plush hotels.

Grup Sahid & China Ruier bangun gedung perkantoran

JAKARTA(Bisnis): PT Sahid Inti Dinamika menggandeng investor China, China Ruier International Group Ltd dalam membangun gedung perkantoran Menara Sahid yang membutuhkan total investasi sekitar Rp500 miliar.
Sukamdani Sahid Gitosardjono, pendiri Sahid Group, mengatakan penandatanganan kerja sama tersebut merupakan pemulihan kembali hubungan dagang langsung antara Indonesia dan China yang telah dibina sejak 20 tahun lalu.

"Dari total kebutuhan yang akan diinvestasikan nanti, 45%-nya merupakan saham dari PT Sahid sedangkan sedangkan sisanya sebesar 55% merupakan saham dari China Ruier International Ltd," katanya usai menandatangani nota kesepahaman dengan Chang Jiang Li, Presdir China Ruier International Group Ltd, kemarin.

Menurut Sukamdani, Menara Sahid akan menjadi gedung perkantoran mewah berlantai 38, yakni terdiri dari lima lantai basement yang akan menjadi sarana parkir, pusat jajan makanan dan minuman, dan 33 lantai ke atas menjadi gedung perkantoran.

"Gedung yang berdiri di lahan seluas 6.846 m2 tersebut, akan dipasarkan secara strata title."

Dia juga menambahkan Menara Sahid yang akan dibangun dengan menggunakan material lux atau setara dengan hotel berbintang lima tersebut nantinya akan berada satu kompleks dengan Hotel Sahid Jaya Jakarta, apartemen Istana Sahid, Sahid Office Boutique yang berada di lingkungan Sahid Puri Kencana di kawasan Sudirman.

GEDUNG JANGKUNG DI POROS JAKARTA

Membangun sesuatu yang lebih tinggi merupakan obsesi historis sejak jaman
Babel, Donald Trump, sampai jaman konglomerat Indonesia. 'Core' dua gedung
di kompleks Danamon di Jalan Sudirman sengaja ditinggikan hanya supaya
secara keseluruhan menjadi lebih tinggi daripada bangunan-bangunan yang
diketahui ada atau akan ada di sekelilingnya.


Tidak ada kontroversi bahwa negeri tempat lahir pencakar langit pertama
adalah Amerika Serikat, entah di New York atau Chicago. Di Indonesia
bangunan 'tinggi' pertama adalah Hotel Indonesia, yang lahir pada Tahun
1959. Tingginya hanya 8 lantai (yang kecil) dan 14 lantai (yang lebih
besar). Tetapi pada waktu itu ketinggian tersebut sudah luar biasa
mencoloknya terhadap kampung-kampung di sekitarnya. Ketinggian memang
menjadi sifat yang paling mencolok bagi jenis arsitektur ini. Namun ada juga
sifat lainnya, yaitu multiplikasi lantai dan fungsi, bentuk yang me-menara
dan membentuk blok pulau.


Hotel Indonesia dengan bentuk bidang (slab) sebenarnya bukanlah pencakar
langit 'sejati' yang bersifat menara (tower). Yang mencuat hanyalah dua
bidang horisontal yang diletakkan tegak lurus satu sama lainnya. Gedung
Sarinah dan terutama Wisma Nusantara (30 lantai) yang menyusul kemudian
lebih memiliki karakter sebagai 'pencakar langit'. Wisma Nusantara patut
dicatat juga sebagai konstruksi baja pertama di Indonesia.

Di Bundaran Hotel Indonesia yang monumental kita melihat metamorfosis penuh
bentuk dasar pencakar langit. Sesudah Hotel Indonesia yang berupa bidang dan
Wisma Nusantara yang berupa menara yang mencuat langsung dari tanah, kita
mendapatkan Hotel Mandarin dengan bentuk dasar yang lain : menara di atas
podium. Kemudian, entah sengaja (dan dengan ambisi sekalian) atau tidak,
lahir Plaza Indonesia yang menggabung-gabungkan ketiga bentuk dasar itu
sekaligus : dua bidang bertemu tegak lurus dibuat menyerupai menara dengan
bentuk meninggi di tengah, dan terletak di atas podium pula. Tentu saja dia
juga paling besar, yang listriknya saja pada waktu dibangunnya konon sama
dengan listrik seluruh Kota Sukabumi.




Pencakar Langit dan Masalah Urbanitas


Gedung jangkung membuat kota-kota menjadi tidak lagi seperti biasanya.
Sejarah arsitektur menyaksikan kegelisahan luar biasa, seperti orang bingung
menghadapi kedatangan bayi raksasa ke dalam sebuah keluarga. Orang Eropah,

Koolhaas selalu mau pencakar langit dipadukan di dalam struktur ruang kota
yang telah ada, entah sebagai 'menara dalam taman' (towers in the park, Le
Corbusier), menara sepanjang jalan raya (Avenue of Skyscrapers, August
Perret), menara sebagai titik fokus (Saarinen), atau sebagai 'kelompok'
(Koolhaas).Pencakar langit di Amerika jauh lebih prakmatis, karena terletak
di dalam kotak-kotak di Manhattan yang semuanya hampir sama rasa sama rata.


Visi Han Awal (arsitek kompleks Universitas Katolik Atmajaya di Semanggi)
menggabungkan visi 'Avenue of Skyscrapers' dan 'Towers in the Park'. Pada
awalnya, untuk masterplan pertama kampus itu, dengan sukarela Han Awal
memundurkan bangunan sampai 30 meter di belakang Garis Sempadan Jalan
(wajibnya cuma 10 meter). Suatu langkah luar biasa yang muncul kembali pada
kompleks Danamon dua puluh tahun kemudian. Tetapi visi ini langsung dikasari
oleh bangunan persis di sebelah Utaranya, ialah 'bidang' Gedung Central
Plaza yang bukan 'tower' dan hanya 10 meter di belakang Garis Sempadan
Jalan, sehingga menutupi keleluasaan pandangan di kawasan Semanggi.


Bagian pencakar langit yang paling penting bagi kota adalah alasnya (katakan
4 lantai pertama), karena bagian inilah yang biasanya yang memuat
kegiatan-kegiatan umum yang banyak berhubungan dengan kota dan masyarakat
umum. Sullivan mengangkat kesadaran ini dengan memperkenalkan prinsip disain
'tripartite' (alas/kaki, badan, dan puncak/kepala), hal yang tidak asing
bagi arsitektur tradisional Indonesia, Bali misalnya. Sepanjang sejarahnya,
sebagaimana juga terlihat di sepanjang Jalan Thamrin Sudirman, elaborasi
bagian alas ini telah berkembang dalam dua kecenderungan. Yang pertama
adalah memindahkan dimensi publik bangunan ke ruang luar sehingga terbentuk
plasa-plasa. Contohnya adalah plasa di kompleks Danamon (1998), Gajah Mada
Plasa (sayangnya sekarang dipagari setelah kerusuhan Ketapang) atau Seagram
Building (1958) di New York. Kecenderungan kedua adalah mengembangkan bagian
alas sebagai 'entrance' yang dibesar-besarkan, dengan bangunan yang
dilubangi, dibuka, bukan mengembang keluar. Tipikal pendekatan yang kedua
ini adalah karya-karya John Portman, hotel Hyatt Regency (1973) di San
Francisco, misalnya. Umumnya hotel menempuh kecenderungan ini, sehingga
terjadi apa yang disebut 'interiorised urbanity' (urbanitas yang dimasukkan
ke dalam bangunan). Hotel Grand Hyatt di Bundaran Hotel Indonesia adalah
contoh untuk ini juga. Beberapa gedung perkantoran meniru ini dalam bentuk
lobi-lobi yang berlebih-lebihan seperti Gedung GKBI di Semanggi, atau Atrium
Setiabudi di Rasuna Said. Hotel Sari Pacific di Jalan Thamrin adalah pionir
dalam memperlakukan pintu masuk secara berlebih-lebihan, dengan 'portico'
raksasanya itu.


Wisma Dharmala (Paul Rudolph, 1986) agak berbeda. Di sini ada maksud untuk
benar-benar membuka bagian dasar bangunan dan mengubah dasarnya yang terbuka
ini menjadi bagian dari keseluruhan jaringan perkotaan, paling tidak dari
lingkungan sekitarnya. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai adalah menjadikan bagian
dasar bangunan itu sebagai bagian dari kota Jakarta itu sendiri. Mesanine di
lantai dua dan tiga, misalnya, diisyaratkan dapat berhubungan langsung
dengan jembatan penyeberangan jalan.

Gedung ini memiliki gebrakan lain : menggunakan idiom atap sebagai ciri
arsitektur Indonesia secara sangat mencolok. Sayangnya cara itu justru
sangat bertentangan dengan sifat dasar atap yang 'utuh' dan 'meneduhkan',
bukan terpecah-pecah dan 'ribut' sehingga menjadi dekoratif pada bangunan
ini. Arsitek Indonesia sendiri telah meng-aktualisasi-kan atap secara jauh
lebih cerdas sebelumnya. Suyudi pada gedung Kedutaan Besar Prancis (1974) di
Jalan Thamrin atau gedung Kedutaan Besar RI di Kuala Lumpur (1976)
menggunakan atap sebagai cincin (spandrel) yang tidak terputus dan sangat
meneduhkan secara fisik maupun psikologis. Yuswadi Saliya pada gedung Hilton
Executive Club menggunakan atap sebagai seluruh bangunan itu sendiri. Kita
juga mengenal Silaban (arsitek Bank Indonesia) yang secara hurafiah
menggunakan atap perisai pada bangunan besar sekalipun.




Superblok atau "Kota dalam kota"


Pada Tahun 90an muncul trend yang baru tapi lama, yaitu superblok. Kalaupun
para konglomerat Jakarta pada akhirnya tidak berhasil membuat benar-benar
sebuah superblok yang komprehensif, umumnya mereka berhasil membuat dua
menara ('twin-towers'). Entah mengapa, membuat dua memberikan prsetise lebih
tinggi daripada 'single tower'. Mungkin cuma mencerminkan keserakahan,
seolah-olah 'one is never enough'. BNI City, SCBD, Kota Anggana Danamon,
Kota Bentala, Kota BDNI, adalah sedikit dari banyak contoh. Namun hampir
tidak ada yang berhasil mencapai tujuan sebenarnya: meng-internalisasi-kan
pelayanan dan kenyamanan. SCBD, misalnya tidak membuat pejalan kaki lebih
nyaman. Di BNI City (aslinya mau mencakup Hotel Shangrila juga), orang dan
mobil perlu ke luar ke jalan raya untuk berpindah dari satu gedung ke gedung
lainnya. Juga secar arsitektur tidak ada hubungan estetik maupun morfologis
antara satu gedung dengan gedung lainnya. Hotel Shangrilla malah sangat
mengganggu jalan di depannya, karena memiliki sampai lebih dari dua pintu
masuk dari jalan tersebut. Umumnya gedung-gedung ini terasing dari jalan,
berupa pulau, karena berpagar dan terpisah oleh 'ladang' mobil dari pemakai
jalan di luarnya.


Pengecualian mungkin terdapat pada kompleks Danamon. Meskipun baru dua
menara yang selesai dibangun, keduanya terpadu dengan baik dan
sungguh-sungguh. Dari satu gedung ke gedung lain orang dapat berjalan dengan
nyaman melalui gedung itu sendiri, atau melalui 'plasa' dan koridor yang
beratap, yang juga menyambungkan Jalan Sudirman dengan plasa di bagian dalam
kompleks. Baik dari Jalan Sudirman maupun Jalan Satrio orang dapat berjalan
pada kaki-lima yang lebar, yang langsung menyambung dengan halaman bangunan
dan lobi di dalamnya tanpa terhalang pagar ataupun tempat parkir.
'Penghalang'nya mungkin cuma satpam yang galak grogi melihat masyarakat
merasa memiliki ruang kota. Gedung ini, dengan kemewahan bahan (granit impor
pada seluruh badannya), keleluasaan ruang dan kematangan pengolahan
bentuknya merupakan puncak 'property boom' dan menandai datangnya krisis.

u no...wisma 46 actually has over 46 storeys...on the 46th storey theres a restaurant named cilantro...but i saw some signs that said to 47th and 48th storey...

yeah.. above cilantro there are 2 other places.. one of them is french (damn expensive) and the other one i cant remember..

but i'm sure wisma mulia got their 57 storey cause the Mulia group reside on the top of that building. in spite of it, i'm not sure if 57 is the 'actual' floors (as we know in our country, they must be delete numbering of 4, 13 and so on)

I was saying about floor to ceiling, where in most cases are around 3 to 3.5m high. but some buildings may have it higher than that

right, there is a proposed hospital project called Saidah International Hospital.
i just noticed, they begin covered the area just next to the menara orienta with 'Pagar Seng' (i mean the area which 'sandwiched' between Menara anugrah and Menara Orienta constructions). but, haven't seen the construction yet.
