Capital High Towers [2 x 311m]
http://www.katalog.mampsa.pl/img/polska/hodowcy_mapa_krakow.jpg

krkseg1ops March 14th, 2011, 03:59 PM WHAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!
Dredzik March 14th, 2011, 04:04 PM actually, I'm a bit shocked
krkseg1ops March 14th, 2011, 04:08 PM There is a snowball's chance in hell this is going to be build but it was nice to see Kraków in the supertalls section as the only city in Poland :D
Ni3lS March 14th, 2011, 04:16 PM Chance = 0,0000001% + Krakow = probably won't get buit = Vision? :D
droneriot March 14th, 2011, 04:26 PM Those are some really shoddy looking renders, as if the virtual camera is out of focus.
AMS guy March 14th, 2011, 04:30 PM Nice try, but it's just an illusion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkH6apsRQWs) ;)
desmo March 14th, 2011, 04:36 PM ^^
Not an illusion, it's a fantasy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy8RTBvB0cg)
Dubrovnik March 14th, 2011, 04:45 PM Dont ruin the beautiful silhouette of the magic city of Krakow.
:ohno:
krkseg1ops March 14th, 2011, 05:04 PM No worries, this proposed location isn't even in the city itself, 9 km from the center means it's actually outside the inner ring, near the A4 motorway. So you could see the buildings from the Main Square but you wouldn't be able to see the Main Square from the buildings themselves :D
KillerZavatar March 14th, 2011, 05:11 PM haha if it was build it would be the second supertall twin structure after paris, awesome x)
witu102 March 14th, 2011, 05:38 PM not possible, why would anyone build and pay for a tall building when grounds are relatively cheap in this location..i think something like Cracow Bussiness Park is more possible.
Ulv March 14th, 2011, 05:43 PM Impossible - Cracow shouldn't be a second Warsaw, and destroy great historical landscape.
Blizzy March 14th, 2011, 06:40 PM ^^ Building skyscrapers does not have to ruin the historical part of a city, just look at Paris. Same thing with these two - they are far from the city center. It doesn't really matter though - there is no chance these will ever get built.
Oh, an krkseg1ops, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Warsaw already made it into the supertall section before (with the fatamorgana proposal by orco: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=596271 ). No bonus ;)
Ulv March 14th, 2011, 07:07 PM ^^
budowa tak wysokich obiektów w panoramie Krakowa mogłaby skutkować wykreśleniem Starego Miasta z listy dziedzictwa UNESCO.
http://www.tvn24.pl/-1,1695810,0,1,krakow-przebije-palac-kultury,wiadomosc.html
Urbanista1 March 14th, 2011, 07:22 PM This may not be a bad idea just like La Defense in Paris and it is outside of UNESCO's protective zone for old Krakow. Go for it.
Yardmaster March 14th, 2011, 07:28 PM They look like they are going to fall over.
tytus1977 March 14th, 2011, 07:44 PM Well, I wouldn't worry too much. The way things get built (NOT!) in Krakow we will never see any skyscrapers in the city and to be honest with you, on this ocasion I wish they were never built.
Rapter March 14th, 2011, 08:00 PM Beautiful building, if Warsaw's spire would start being u/c, this would make a 2nd supertall in Poland as far as I know, fair play to them :)

KillerZavatar March 14th, 2011, 08:57 PM thanks a lot dino, those renders look so much better x)
krkseg1ops March 15th, 2011, 12:27 AM ^^ Yes and I really don't think 300 meters in such location would ruin any view on the historic parts of town. This is a brilliant idea to start the La Defense of Kraków :)
Locke March 17th, 2011, 06:19 PM Good looking buildings, and damn tall as well for Europe.
They are miles and miles from the old city, so no problem imo.
blazemk March 28th, 2011, 04:56 PM why Krakow , krakow is a beautiful polish historical city . Build it in the commerce centre Warsaw . Warsaw skyline is becoming pretty impressive , these would make a great addition.
specialdj March 28th, 2011, 05:17 PM I find this project is similar to Tour hermitage (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=634777)
mglouis85 March 28th, 2011, 10:07 PM I find this project is similar to Tour hermitage (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=634777)
i think they did copy paste and hoped nobody noticed LOL
sepul March 31st, 2011, 08:34 PM haha if it was build it would be the second supertall twin structure after paris, awesome x)
remember Petronas TWIN Towers?
tovan March 31st, 2011, 08:44 PM Chance = 0,0000001% + Krakow = probably won't get buit = Vision? :D
More like 0,00%.
Beautiful building, if Warsaw's spire would start being u/c, this would make a 2nd supertall in Poland as far as I know, fair play to them :)
Warsaw Spire won't be a supertall - it is going to be 220m tall.
droneriot April 1st, 2011, 02:40 PM remember Petronas TWIN Towers?
I think he was referring solely to Europe. We all know about famous supertall twins overseas, one of them far more famous than the Petronas Towers, even.
Jakub April 1st, 2011, 05:01 PM This is actually not even a project. They are dim renderings presenting something, which is neither related to the city nor the current situation. There should be an intention or a logic purpose comming from the design stage to create the shape like this.
Gendo April 3rd, 2011, 09:00 AM The jury's out until I see a realistic cladding scheme applied to these massing models.
Orionol February 12th, 2012, 08:08 PM So what happend? Is it still a propose or what???
krkseg1ops February 13th, 2012, 12:29 AM It's dead.
Wertyder February 13th, 2012, 06:39 AM So what happend? Is it still a propose or what???
It was SF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction), nothing more :).
Orionol February 13th, 2012, 03:27 PM :ohno: Awh, to bad.
