Proposal for new developmetn for a 40 storeys - 362 units, fill in gap between the buildings - includes the demolition of one and retention of two historical buildings. Rezoning application - includes the demolition of one and retention of two historically listed buildings and demolition of 2-storey comercial building.

There was a previous proposal for a slightly shorter tower that became stale. The big loss in this new proposal is the demolition of 258 Victoria, a nice 6 storey warehouse building. The height seems about right, just hopefully the design will be nice considering its prominent location being right behind Dundas Square.

Will give the square a more Times Square feel!

40 stories sounds nice yet I wish we could keep that 6 story warehouse building, nice to have as much tall historical buildings in areas as possible.

No thanks. Fill in the parking lot across the street before even thinking of touching any of the heritage buildings, please.

Also, I'm having a hard time figuring this out...its "21 Dundas Square", yet wouldn't front onto that street/the square at all if its replacing 258 Victoria and its 2-storey neighbour?

Great news, but this must be a landmark tower for that location. No boring City Place-design here, please!
