I brought my camera with me today on 9/13 for the primary reason of taking shots of the new 7 WTC but I did get more pictures here and there. Here goes a Midtown and Downtown scattering of pics...

Around 10 AM or so, after getting out the 34 st. station, the ESB was standing tall, I couldn't resist a shot of it...

I was walking down toward 23 st., here goes the Flatiron and it's surroundings:

Later on after class during a break, yes, it's the great Lexington Ave canyon:

Zoom zoom zoom:

Can you guess what building is behind the trees?

Then I went Downtown during my other break, let me just put all the 7 WTC pics that I posted already in the WTC forum in here together too:

I thought it would be slimmer, it's pretty bulky:

Steel rising at 7 World Trade:

Looks pretty cool with the fence:

From the WFC:

I've been kind of pissed at myself for not taking enough Woolworth Building pictures, so I took a couple this time, here's one:

I couldn't see shit because of the sun while taking this picture, I just pressed the button and figured whatever it took, it took. This is what it took, not bad I'd say...

another stash of good pics! ur one lucky man jack, to be so close to the best skyline in the world and even visit it during breaks from classes...

those new 7 wtc pics are so awesome. really shows how it mirrors the old one in overall shape. the two's really got the same dominating feel to them, even though one's a parallelogram and the other is a trapezoid. it's just that new 7's more oriented north-south while old 7's more oriented east-west.

construction seems to be speeding up a lot now. let's hope they'll be largely finished with its facade when i get a glimpse of it from liberty state park on new years eve.

the deutche bank's gonna be demolished by what i call "deconstruction", which is taking apart the building piece by piece. they're not gonna implode it. it's too risky and no building close to its height or taller has ever been demolished that way. well, the building looks like it's just standing there abandoned. did demolition on it start yet?

:applause: :master: Outstanding Jack! Out of all the images you've taken since I've been around ...these take the cake.....the intro shots of ESB and Chrysler are :okay:..esp the Flatiron shot ...thats gotta be my favorite....one of the best artistic surrounding style photos of Flatiron I've ever seen. Followed nicely by things to come, and the classic Woolworth building....kudos and thanks once again for sharing!
