I also noticed a lot of monkeys on the roads :lol: but besides the animals, I would say Djibouti has pretty good roads. :cheers:

The monkeys are in that particular region (Arta and Tadjoura I guess) not everywhere. But camels are :lol:

Roads where being upgraded these last years, though there is much to do. Tadjoura-Dorra-Ethiopian border and Tadjoura-Obock roads are currently under construction...

^^ Desert is worse. You don't see anything at night. At least in U.S.A you have building. Even in Egypt some highways looks dark and usually they are the most dangerous in the country.

Those are roads that connect the different regions of Djibouti. That's why they don't have lights, they're not located in cities.

Nice smooth roads! thank you musiccity and ras siyan. Looks like djibouti is upgrading the road system in the past two years, but i think it was much better if they can make it 4 lane highway since the traffic of ethiopian trucks are increasing a lot.

But whose camels are they :lol: or did someone let them out for a stroll on the new roads:D
