Since you mentioned Toronto, I think it can be in this thread... for one because it is considered a "megacity", and 2 the entire city is a sea of highrise... yea, definatly not to the extent of some of the above cities, but it should get a mention. That being said here are some pics:
There pics were taken from buildings, but I guess you can consider them aerials.

These pics show the extreme vastness, high urban density and surprising greenery of Manila, as well as the amazing skylines it has and its infrastructure; its skyway and other flyovers, Highways, LRT and Train lines, Harbour etc. plus new developements of a new Commercial District at Fort Bonifacio. If you think think this thread is great, you should check out the "Amazing pictures of Manhattan" thread in the NYC forum. Some of the NY pics in this megacities thread came from that thread but that thread is about six or seven pages long, loaded with dozens of the best NYC pictures I have ever seen in my life!

Hi , sorry but i dont find that berlin looks much like Brazilia , look Berlin has a few historic districts like Altstadt Spandau , Charlotteburg , and nikolaiviertel and lot more ... brazilia ,i find its a new planned citiy of the fiftees of the 20. century , it is a big difference between brazilia , and berlin , brasil are more econmical strange than brazil

Here are some more pics of Berlin.....it's surely not a megacity - but at least it's large and, from a European point of view, a populous city.
The very nice thing about this metropolis is, that it's extremely green within its boundaries. You can find woods, lakes, rivers, beaches, tree lined avenues and a growing number of public parks and playgrounds.
The Tiergarten, you can see on most of the pics, is something like Berlin's Central Park...

What happened with my double post was that I clicked POST and nothing happened for several minutes, as if my internet connection had fallen. Then I clicked STOP and clicked POST again. But apparently the message had already been sent, just the site never gave feedback telling me so!

Just got back from Paris (3rd visit).
I despise "da Defense" but as those aerials clearly show, Paris has the most beautiful density on earth. Canyons carved from 5 to 8 storey buildings linked by countless bridges.
No place on earth like it.

people like me who made the populations of Italy and other countries shrink! Didn't know that we were such a potential! :)
Well, Italy and most other European countries do have low birth rates, which means that their populations are making up less and less of the world total as time goes on. However, see the UN Population Report about 2300. If current fertility rates continue, African countries will have enormous populations. Niger would have over 23 TRILLION people (about 17,500 Chinas!). Europe would have only a few million.
If that is the case, Europe's gonna have to do a lot better than they are now, since Niger has a birth rate of around 7 children per woman. But, obviously the growth rates are NOT due to homosexuality! Humanity cannot survive without reproduction, but I don't consider it a duty to reproduce. Europe will survive, albeit with diminished importance. But the diminishing of Europe's importance in terms of population mirrors the diminishing (relative) importance of Europe and the West in terms of trade, culture, military power, etc...
Anyway, the constant fertility scenario is hardly plausible, but it is at least clear that Europe will not become larger than China or India, so as China and India become more developed (possibly even reaching European levels of development), Europe's role in the world will decrease, and this pattern holds for other developing regions of the world.
Conclusion- The decline of Western Civilization is not Cello's fault :)

Huh? the UN report for 2300 shows Nigeria's population hitting a maximum of 302.9 million on 2095, and decreasing from there... look at the medium scenarios (the only realsitic ones, and hence the only ones published in great detail... Europe doesn't end up too bad off. And European growth rates probably will inch back up to replacement level at some point, with or without Cello's help ;)
Really, it is absurd to think that homosexuality has any impact on the survival of the human species... Besides, if more straight-men took some tips from their gay friends (me, for example... I could stand to learn a few things), then reproduction rates would be bound to go up (well, mine at least)!

I had once a professor at the university who really said (not directed to the class at least): homosexuals shouldn't get any retirement money because they don't produce children, the base of future economy!!!
I am married and don't have children as a lot here do - it's the biggest risk here to fall into povertry and everybody knows. It is very very sad that children became just a question of who can afford them an who not... But if someone is homosexual it's not his or her fault, there are still so many ignorant and arrogant people around in this world :(

what a lot of people may or may not realize is that even after 11 pages we still cannot truly grasp how unbelievably huge tokyo is.
In any particular picture you seem to see what looks like a downtown and it looks like a fairly averaged sized one one. What you do not see is that tokyo has something like 11 of them. The only way to see it's scale is almost from space - and at that range you don't see any of the building so you're again fooled about how big it actually is.

Athens...i'd never seen good pics of it before. it suprises me, in a good way. how can that be called the world's ugliest city (as i've seen it called on this forum?)
anyway, here's one of NYC from Joe's New York.

Well to be honest, it cannot compare to other European cities in most ways, me missed out on the whole "European" look (we were under Ottoman rule). And pre-2004 Athens was in dire need of a face lift, which it got, and now is like anew and is in much better condition. It has it's spots of classical Greek and European architecture, but for the most part concrete apartment buildings dominate the scenary. I would like anybody who has visited Athens after August 2004 call it ugly though, I just don't see it now. It's beautiful. :)

Amazing. Those aerials and satellite images of Athens look awesome. It's definetely a very dense city. Now that it has received a face life, I'd love to visit. It kinda reminds me of Barcelona on some of those pics, being a Mediterranean city with a port and a grid layout, except it's predominantly white and much bigger than BCN ofcourse.
That red house on the Paris pano someone asked about above is quite typical in some immediate suburbs of Paris, but I'm not sure what style it is.
Buenos Aires ofcourse looks huge and imposing, as do the Asian cities shown here.
