There are alot of Japanese cars but others as well. There are also many Holdens and plenty of European cars as well.

I would say the aussies drive mostly japanese cars but also their own brand, holden(gm, looks like opel or vauxhall). you can see also lots of ford, australian style or at least american.
european brands are not very common, i haven´t seen many(one??) french or italian cars there, maybe a few german. talked to some australians and they told me german cars are very expensive, especially because of the taxes.

unlike in europe, in australia you will see many youngsters driving honda,toyota and subaru but very seldom a bmw,audi or vw.

we made often jokes and asked them why they prefer to drive rice-plates instead of cars :lol:

Btw...if you have an eye....do you see anything that's worth printing and framing?

I think most of all. It's very difficult to decide which one is worth and which one is not. Those with the ocean, the luxurious forests and the birds and animals in particular are very very good.

I had a great time and would go again without hesitation (despite the almost unbearable plane ride). Australia is an amazing country and rivals (and possibly even execeeds) anything Europe and the US have to offer.

And they play and love rugby, which is very cool. While I was there, the Sharks from South Africa were in town for a game against the Rebels. When we left, I met a few of them at the airport and chatted a bit.
