Homer J. Simpson September 16th, 2004, 07:15 AM Nice pics Istrian!
Hillis September 16th, 2004, 07:27 AM Great pics... you have one hell of a view!
Ed007Toronto September 16th, 2004, 07:42 AM Istrian I sent you an email a while back about the Istrian club in Toronto. You never responded. Do you want to be introduced?
I'd love to get a chance to take some pictures from your building. Great panorama potential. Let me know.
Lucky 24 September 16th, 2004, 08:55 AM Wow, great views you got there istrian. I can't really tell, but are those "herbal supplies" on your window frame? :)
Hillis September 16th, 2004, 09:52 AM They look like Shell's
Lucky 24 September 16th, 2004, 09:59 AM I was referring to the thing that looks like a bong. :D
Istrian September 16th, 2004, 03:14 PM Wow, great views you got there istrian. I can't really tell, but are those "herbal supplies" on your window frame? :)
Sorry Lucky, no herbal supplies, just shells and two music instruments
made of glas from Istria (cello & flute)!
Are Be September 16th, 2004, 04:05 PM We're going to have to buy out everyone in your condo and in all the other condos south of the Gardiner, tear them down, along with the Gardiner, and then, once we choose to ignore both the railway tracks and Lakeshore Blvd., there will be clear access to the lake from the rest of the city!
TEAR DOWN THE GARDINER AND ALL CONDOMINIUMS BETWEEN THE RAILWAY TRACKS AND THE LAKE NOW!
- PS #1- Great photos! They truly show how pointless tearing down the Gardiner would be.
PS#2- Did you get a deal because you took the fantastic city view over the lake view?

I agree Are Bee, just save "my building" !!!
P.S. There's no deal, unfortunately !!!
Skybean September 16th, 2004, 10:31 PM That is one helluva view. Take pictures more often please.

punkstarbassist101 September 17th, 2004, 12:55 AM nice pics Istrian. It kinda looks like there is a ufo to the left of the cn tower in this one. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/istrian/night%20shots/P8150070.jpg
bizorky September 17th, 2004, 07:07 AM Yeah, it's the one bringing AreBe back.
DanfromTO September 18th, 2004, 02:44 AM Nice pics

that "flute" sure does look like a bong
doady September 18th, 2004, 03:03 AM Great pics. The 13th one is my favorite.
ONE HUMAN September 19th, 2004, 01:24 AM Every time I see a view from this angle, I can't help thinking there is too much BCE place. The first tower is bad enough, but I could live with just the one if there wasn't the second boring tower blocking the view of a really nice tower -- Scotia Plaza.
Look at the picture objectively and all you see are two ugly masses of gray. Yes, there are setbacks at the top of the Canada Trust Tower and I suppose they tried to make it interesting, but the architects really missed the boat on designing it and its even uglier sister.
Too bad we couldn't have something more like Liberty One (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=6573) and Liberty Two (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=10702) in Philadelphia. Two buildings like that would really add to the skyline instead of taking away from it. All BCE place adds is mass and height. Boring.

I like BCE Place but I pray that BCE III never happens.

Homer J. Simpson September 19th, 2004, 04:14 AM It would be nice if BCEIII gets built and has a design change to something a little more interesting.
Jaybird October 11th, 2004, 04:31 AM A day in the life of a Toronto city liver! That certainly does show how livable the city really is, if you, of course, have the $$$!
Those are amazing views, Istrian. I'm beginning to get some sort of attraction here... you must feel lucky in a way to have that kind of a view...
CrazyCanuck October 11th, 2004, 04:57 AM Nice pics, but what is that one building called that looks like a cat?
