if we are going to be building a city (is that the plan here) then wouldnt it be best to actually do some masterplanning of an area first which means doing the ground level and then adding basic blocks. once youve masterplanned a particular area then you merge a file with a block in a particular location ... different people can do different buildings for the same area then.

Yeah that would be a good idea. (The idea with the blocks and merging them (which is the only possible way to even HAVE such a big city) was the initial idea)
I was thinking of having a masterplan containing a lot of blocks and those blocks are all separate files that need to be merged; also the blocks are already SAVED in the right position (coordinates) so the city only needs to be merged together, no more time-expensive moving no more :P

I am wondering Gothicform: Do you have some basic blocks yet (ea: blocks that have very basic, low polycount buildings on them)?
Freek and I could build those blocks but as far as I know Kevin already has these blocks and you too? It would be a waste of time then :)
I'm working on the masterplan (the outline) for Arryena City now, but I could DEFINATELY use some help from you and Kevin, I've never did a good job on converting the plan to Bryce5 reality.

WOW!!! now that looks great!
1 question: you use solid blocks and then texture them right? I (we, Freek, me and Kevin) use blocks to construct floors and such, a building exists of a few 100 blocks.
Try to see in the tutorial what I mean.
STILL: your buildings look brilliant, so I think it's ok to use your textured buildings!
ps: do you have e-mail or a messenger?
