But I sure want gwadar to compete with Dubai, but it's a long story there... Good to see Arab brothers don't rely on oil any more. zuhahmed September 30th, 2004, 08:27 PM post modern are u pakistani v9 October 5th, 2004, 12:19 PM dubai will become the most important business, economy and trade hub between europe and asia. at the moment there is an overwhelming construction boom as so many companies invest in new towers and so many residential towers and communities are under construction You're forgetting the entire South Asian subcontinent. But Dubai will certainly be the most important city in the Middle East. Unless Iran really gets going, and Tehran experiences economic takeoff. hanart January 10th, 2006, 09:23 PM I think China and dubai have the most futuristic skyscrapers in the world, and dont u agree? The question you asked is wrong! Should be "China and UAE" or "Dubai and Shanghai", Don't you think so? Of course, in Dubai there are too many skyscrapers accomplished and not accomplished, including the tallest building-burj dubai, the tallest residential building, and the tallest hotel in the world. I'm a Chinese working in Dubai, UAE! chrishung January 11th, 2006, 12:26 AM ^^ Yeah agree. It should be compared either on the city level or on country level, not a mixture. But I'm wondering if the UAE government wants Dubai to be the only city to be the business and tourism hub or are they developing several cities simultaneously like what china is doing right now? WUCN January 15th, 2006, 07:48 PM yes! you are right! China is trying her best to balance the development rate between the west part and the east part. so i think the equity and balance is very important! |
