my computer got so much virus (in only 2 days) that it is useless now. i'm currently using my old computer, but this computer is ever so crappy. so, don't think i followed dumatod, seaniscoming, and infatar's path because i am not gonna be on for a while.

Anyway, just do a cold format and it will be solved (cold format = format it with a clean RAM, turn of the computer for 5 minutes without power supply, and boot directly on the Windows CD to format to the disk).

Exarchus, don't draw any rash conclusions as to the source of Ellatur's virus problem -- there are so many sources out there, and the victim is in most cases quite innocent. :)

your computer must be infacted from cookie files. The cookie files are files that come from internet website and it gives you the source of information and lots of things! Also some virus in it. your computer can be cure by this program 99.9 for sure!!

ActiveX control can there are tons of them on the net. That's how the worm baslter infect computer. Block ActiveX control and you should be quiet, that's what I did and I never had any problem.

I'm back... but my archive of pictures... my most treasured things that were in my computer.. is lost....


well. the guy who fixed me backed up my documents folder, but i hid the archive somewhere else, so it was lost. i am sad now..............................

that sucks! I've had that happened to me a couple of times before. I had a huge collection of world city photos and they all got lost because I had to format my computer. I was really really sad and never really got back into collecting city photos again.

Make sure you get anti spyware and anti virus updated and running at all times. That should prevent most problems. It's comforting when you go to a porn and warez website and your antivirus pops up a message saying such and such viruses were disinfected. :D

I don't go much to porn website anymore, when I was in high school like everyone.

For my picture collection, I have partitioned the disk, so I can format it and keep the pictures.

I actually uploaded about 40MB of my archive to 2 yahoo groups just to save them online so i can transfer them from my old computer to my new computer. but then new pictures were added, and my archive multiplied and multiplied. and i never bothered to upload them.... now i am gonna upload them to my gmail account :)
