Orsova


Orşova (German: Orschowa, Hungarian: Orsova, Serbian: Оршава, Bulgarian: Орсово, Polish: Orszawa, Czech: Oršava, Turkish: Adakale) is a port city on the Danube river in southwestern Romania's Mehedinţi County. It is one of four localities in the county located in the Banat historical region. It is situated just above the Iron Gates, on the spot where the Cerna River meets the Danube.

If those commie blocks are replaced by something more classical, the place could bear a striking resemblance to lake como or other Italian or Swiss towns by lakes.

Daca aveti chef sa mergeti acolo, se gaseste cazare de buna calitate in Orsova. In Serbia cetatenii români pot trece si numai cu buletinul, dar daca masina este incarcata se controleaza sever - daca vede ca sunteti turisti si masina goala merge repede, poate chiar va indruma vamesii spre porti preferentiale, ca sa nu stati la coada cu micul trafic de frontiera. Mâncarea foarte buna in Serbia, adaptata cerintelor turistilor români si bulgari.

Asta e Dubova, nu Orşova. :)

Foarte frumos colt de tara. :)
Singurul loc din Romania unde Dunarea trece muntii.

E frumos. Dar nu as vrea sa se transforme in Valea Prahovei. Prefer sa ramana asa cum e acum.
