Caroline Centre/ Lee Gardens Two
Hong Kong, China
HEIGHT: ?
FLOORS: 25 floors
COMPLETION: 1992
ARCHITECT: Simon Kwan & Associates Ltd. [/I]
The majority of the unitized curtainwall is a black anodized picture frame system glazed with silver reflective glass.
The entrance and tower are accentuated by the use of granite and blue-green reflective glass in a window-wall system.
Visual reinforcing of the entrance is given by large naturally anodized panels with punched windows.
Hysan Development changed the name in 2003 from former Caroline Centre to Lee Gardens Two while refurbishing the building to accommodate retail space. Lee Gardens Two was joined to Manulife Plaza by a bridge to make them work more as a single retail area.
