The historic Old Town of Vigan in the northern Province of Ilocos Sur has been declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.It is one of the last sites in the Philippines where traces of Spanish-influenced colonial architecture has been preserved. It survived the second world war, while many other towns with similar architecture have been destroyed.

Beautiful architecture. Its a pity its in so sad a state.

i think those pictures are quite old.. the place is very much restored now. I'll post some pictures later.

A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE Site. Its such a much see historical destination in Northen Philippines :D
