This idea was started by Yosef and we followed it as such.

How can we attract more Ethiopians to these forums?

I put some links with Photos. From the women and landscape columns. I did invite people putting those as links in sites like Topix, Mderek, Warka. I should go to more sites.

What do you think? Any other ways? Should we list all those sites we listed as important Ethiopian sites and divide them amongst us here and distribute an invitation?

Topix is not a good idea, it's filled with trolls. But promoting it on other forums is great. Spread it among your friends, maybe facebook? Or if you know any bloggers. Make a promotion video and upload it to ethiotube etc.

Trolls are everywhere. Trolls came here too but we have admins for that, we can knock them down.

Let's U and I start. Let's exercise to turn this little idea into an activity and then to success. Its fun.

Let's list the websites here and then Ask others to join us here and assign a link to each. Let me know if you agree. If you do I will start by the listing first.

Lamrof, yeah let's do it. I don't have that many websites, but I'll do my research.

I will do so by starting with the sites listed here in the Ethiopian section of SSC. We will then agroup the sites ask volunteers to assign. Fun huh, an idea turning into reality while we are watching.

Besides the social network sites and personal contacts, we can use these websties to spread the news. These are not only Blog sites they are also comment sites. So when we leave comments we can also leave notes about this site. I suggest you use some links to attractive pics we have here.

Hi, I just thought I'd tell you gets what we do in SSC Egypt, we have kind of the same problem. We started by a facebook page and currently we have 27 likes though it need updating. We also made twitter account and I'm not sure how many follows we have now. Other than that we started by renaming sections to be in arabic and english. We also going to start posting more in Arabic this ways we get more people whom living in Egypt. Maybe you can do the same with local language the one most spread in the internet. Also in facebook I asked the facebook page manager of an under construction project called Mall of Arabia to prompt us and they did :)

That what we're currently been doing, if we get any new ideas I will certainly let you guys know. and if you guys get any good idea make sure you let us know in SSC Egypt remarks and suggestions thread or PM me if you didn't find it.

Thanx Brother. We certainly can let you know if we have a working Idea. I am not a regular user of facebook and twitter. I will let others comment on it.
