Ive heard that bamboo tree's can grow up to three feet a day, is that a fact or is that person bull shitting me :)

About 1meter a day.( Mousou-chiku, kind of popular bamboo )

And each bamboos in same forest are all same clones almost all cases.
Then number of section( = ) are same.
