Sid, this year people say the rain is more frequent. So, the blossom was disturbed.

Saraf, now I am in DC. As I am still busy in settling down which takes an extra time in this country, I will post photos as and when I get an opportunity.

((I don't know how this red face appeared up, here!, somebody pl help to remove this)

Actually its on the way between my residence and office(in DC). I live in Virginia which is about 15 miles(24 kms) from DC.

In pic 27, post 2, its "Capitol Hill" just like our Parliament House

On the right in the picture(pentagon) you can see the glass and metal shed bus stops which run in L-shape and just beneath that there is Pentagon metro station.

The picture was taken from a moving car.

I will try but not sure whether I will be able to attend or not as I am still new and not very familiar with places around. First, I have to ask my Bengali friends(though very few at this stage) about their interest and participation.

Baltimore is about one and half hours to two hours journey by car from my place:)

yes, en1044. If you live in Chantilly, in Virginia then its not very far from your place. May be a few miles away.

This is located on the left when you head towards Tysons corner(westwards along I-495(capital beltway) i.e. towards Maryland after crossing the Braddock road overhead (keeping Annandale on the right of the highway.:)

There was no scope to take a snap from the river bank as there was no place to park the car which forced me to take
the shot from the other side of the road(barricade can be seen on the road divider)

The Reagon National Airport(DCA) is not very far from this point(about 2 miles) and the river comes on the flight path. the plane seen here is about to descend.

I was thinking not to share any photos as I received a lukewarm response from fellow forumers. More than a hundred forumers have visited this thread since I posted cherry blossom photos but its only you who appreciated.
