Hotel Site

One of the major Mozambique banks recently released details of a survey done in Maputo that shows that the city needs at least 11 new 5 star hotels with at least 300 rooms each to satisfy the growing need for hotel accommodation. The site at Montanhana would enjoy demand from both business and holiday travellers.

Seven hectares have been made available for the development of a five-star hotel, possibly with a casino and chalets. The site is conveniently situated near the sea with its own private beach.

Montanhana Shopping Mall and Business Areas

Maputo is growing at a healthy yearly GDP of between 8% & 8.5%. It has 3,5 million residents with very limited shopping facilities, and only 3 new and up-market shopping centres in Maputo.

Approximately 10 hectares have been allocated for the development of shopping / convenience centre/s in the Southwestern corner of the Montanhana Golf & Marine Estate.

Various large firms, supermarket chains & bank groups have indicated that they will sign long term lease agreements if a shopping centre & office space/s are available to rent.

In addition, space will be made available for offices and other commercial developments to service the growing local community as well as Maputo.
