i've called my dad a couple of minutes ago and he said there are some big rumours about a zeppelin being stationed in dubai for sight-seeing purposes or something else in the near future. everybody in his office did research but nobody found anything.

so he asked me to post a thread in here, maybe you can help us!?

no, it's an airship filled up with helium
it was one of the first onjects to fly with. invented in germany in 1880 or something by graf ferdinand zeppelin

Some times ago, there were one or two hot air ballons available for sight-seeing.

the zeppelin used for security purposes during the athens olympic games is likely to come to dubai for sightseeing and event purposes

municipality is planning to bring it here in november/december, but the project has not been finalised yet. just serious plans

another alternative would be choppers
but i guess many people have never been into a zeppelin

would be sabsolutely stunning to overlook the construction sites from the air

huh? maybe during a storm...but not on a normal day. usually the ride is pretty smooth. the world's largest zeppelin can now be seen above frankfurt - the place zeppelins came from (and also the place where this famous zeppelin called hindenburg started before it crashed near new york).

a zeppelin offering sightseeing tours could be a nice addition for tourists visiting dubai.
