I have tried to get into the simtropolis site but when I click on enter site it just appears with the donation page again.

I cleared my cookies and restarted the browser again but got the same problem. Next I tried deleting temporary internet files but that did not work either.

Do any of you know what I should do? :)

Accept the cookie that SimTropolis sends, the site checks with a cookie if you have seen the donation page.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems logging on to Simtropolis recently? My cookies are enabled, but everytime I attempt logging in, it claims that I don't have them enabled. I stopped being able to log on some time after I installed Service Pack 2. Maybe this is related to the problem?

nope, simtroplis is always lagging. if you are a regular poster i recommend hosting pics offsite and sxo whatever u can to save bandiwth. as for me, i dont post at all i think it is the best way to save bandwith.

yup, ive been lurking for more than a year now. my post count is only about 5!

I tried registering and after they sent me the verification mail, i just clicked on the url and it took me to the page with the activation code, after i clicked submit, it keeps on coming back on( the url page ) and i couldn't recieve a message saying my account is verified...??????

When accepting cookies make sure it set to accept all cockies, I used to have the same problem. I don't no why the site runs on cookies anyway.

Not to mention that they just updated the site completely.

I am also having troble accessing simtropolis. I keep getting a can't find server on ads234.com. I believe that the trouble started after something downloaded itself and changed everything. Does anyone else have any idea how to change my search function back to what it was or to change it back to msn search? also simtropols is running quite slow lately too.

I've finally got into Simtropolis (maybe it was just down) but now when I try to register it wont send an e-mail to my PC. It always says it has but it has not! I have tried 3-4 times and it's getting annoying. Does anyone have an answere to my new problem? :bash:

Hotmail blocks all the mails coming from Simtropolis. Maybe that's why :)

Gmail is efficiant for recieving Simtropolis emails.

yeah, simtropolis sucks....I have registered with 3 email addresses...none of them were hotmail, Iwon..etc. They say an email has been sent to me but of course it has not. When I try to email them the email will not send. Screw them, I am not trying again. If anybody is stupid enough to donate money to them they need their heads looked at.

Even when I ask them to send me my password it's appears in my inbox so why isn't the registration e-mail?
