Great pictures. Like Ellatur, I'm really surprised on how neat and clean it is. I like the Mizliore building.

This is where a lot of my family in Korea lives! And I know exactly where all those pics were taken. This is basically downtown Daegu, right near Daegu Station, but north of Daesoro Main Road, that goes through Daegu from East to West. This area is ALWAYS crowded at night with TONS of young people and vendors tossing flyers onto the street everywhere. There's even a Bennigan's restaurant in this area that I ate at this past summer.

Thank you for the show, tectis! :okay:

I'm amazed at the vast amount of advertising in the shopping district ... every building is festooned with signs and banners! :) Is this typically Korean? I know I've noticed it in other photos of Korean cities as well.

Also, thanks for taking us down to the subway ... it looks very new and shiny and clean, and the trains are probably new and modern as well.

@Dong Ha Lee: it's the Migliore Building -- sort of hard to read the company logo. ;) I don't know what they do, but migliore means "better" in Italian.

Hi, London!

I only brought it up because Dong Ha Lee had called it the Mizliore building in his post (#4 above). It's no big deal -- maybe just a typo. :)

And the word is pronounced that way in Italian as well (the g is not audible).

How many languages do I speak? Around 4 or 5 I'd say.
