Is that the core still under construction on the chancery project? If it is, it's sure taking a long time for a 10 storey building to be completed.

Oh did they increase the floors? The original guardian article from two years ago said 10 stories.

Great pics Skylimitone. Looks like the core's finally topped out. Need the load-bearing walls to catch up so they could start connecting those steel cross beams and lay the flooring. They're building this one like the first GCP tower with the core rising first. IMO this always takes longer.

Wow! Emporis has actually updated it's info on Trinidad. They even have the chancery lane project under San Fernando. They say the Chancery Lane project will be 17 floors. I thought the original plan was 10 ten floors? Can someone clarify?

Actually I thought it was supposed to be 15 and at last count, looking at the construction pics, it was 15.

Good job Skylimitone, I assume u were responsible for getting Emporis to finally update their info.

Yes I was, kinda, talk about exhausting.

I'm trying to stay on their backs because with cities like New York for example they are very picky with the pictures and info. They give me a hard time with my photos.

If you guys have have stats for the smaller buildings like the National Library, BHP Billiton Building, the new office buildings uptown etc, you can let me know I forward it to them.

With regards to the Chancery Lane Project, the UDECOTT site says 10 floors, but then the construction photos suggests 15 or so..... I told
Emporis 10 and they put 17 on the site so its very confusing. They still have the info for the Waterfront and GCP wrong, feel like I butting my head on a wall.

Chancery Lane Complex on stream
Friday, November 28 2008

SAN FERNANDO Mayor Kenneth Ferguson yesterday said the Chancery Lane Complex would be completed by March. Speaking at the 27th statutory meeting of the Sixth San Fernando City Council at City Hall chambers, Ferguson said the complex would be completed by March 31, adding that several sections would be finalised long before the main completion date. “There are a lot of sections that would be completed such as the library, additional car park and more,” he said.

The mayor also noted that the project was experiencing a delay in importing a building material, known as fancy cladding from China. The exterior cladding material is to be used on the outer side of the complex.

Referring to the project overview, he said there were five levels of parking with accommodation for 160 cars. He said there were also three levels for retail stores including a food court with five food outlets and 13 stores. The complex will also comprise different government offices.
