I think this is the most versatile building going U/C in the world right now. Check it out (and notice how green it is ;))

The tower will have parking, office space, a hotel, department stores, a museum and an observatory.

I wonder how shaky it will be, especially at the top floor when a strong quake hits. I know supertalls in JP are designed to withstand quakes and they are completely safe. But still it must feel exciting on top, if not scary :D

Not just the top level will have trees though as you can see. Actually many projects in Japan have green roofs now and since 2002 in Tokyo there is a law that 20% of new projects space must be green.
I love the crosswalk !
Me too, actually there is even more to this project let me show you ;)
They are making this 96m tower right next to it

And a mall

All of it should be done by 2014.

Well Japan was hit by a 9.0 earthquake tied as the 4th strongest in history and only a few very old buildings fell. All the skyscrapers had no damage at all..most of the damage was from the tsunami. This is japanese technology in Tokyo during the 9.0 earthquake...look at how the buildings are swinging side to side
