Jonesy55 April 7th, 2005, 11:20 PM Isn't Gatineau just a suburb of Ottawa?

jeicow October 2nd, 2005, 03:21 AM Most of Gatineau buildings are government offices. According to a friend who works as an assitant to a senator, a lot of the news jobs that the Feds created in the 70s-90s went to Gatineau in order to let the number of jobs in Quebec increase, so if another referendum came about it would look like the Feds cared more. Now they're all ending up in the west.

Oaronuviss April 12th, 2006, 05:46 AM 7.0 because it's a very hidden gem in Canadian skylines, and is rivaled by Ottawa.

isaidso June 14th, 2007, 05:12 PM Nice little town, but very dull boring buildings. There really isn't a skyline to speak of so I won't rate it.

Gatineau's skyline isn't very good for a city of 300,000 people, but at least it has quality and geography on its side. Ottawa is right across the river.
