Hi all,
Does anyone have an idea, a definition, a link to a site or anything else that could give a clear definition of what is a "Class A" office building, with well-defined criterias and examples (materials, quality of finishes, etc...)?
So far, the only clue I could get were the followings:
"A term used to describe a modern and superior quality office building with state-of-the art mechanical, electrical and life safety systems and high quality interior and exterior finishes. These prestigious office buildings typically have a strong market presence and attract city's premier tenants. "
Or
"Newer properties (built since 1980) of 100,000 square feet or larger in prime business districts. These buildings usually have at least five floors and are constructed of steel and concrete. They offer many business amenities and good access. "
Or
"Class A Building classification system; defined by BOMA as the most prestigious buildings competing for premier office users with above average rental rates for the area along with high-quality standard finishes, state of the art systems, exceptional accessibility and a definite market presence."
Thks
