New planning notice for this development.
The proposal is to change the use of the 10-storey tower from offices to motel and ancillary purposes, and to replace the 3-storey building with a building containing 17 storeys, comprising six parking storeys (including two basement storeys), a ground floor of offices, and 12 storeys of offices at the upper levels.
The 10-storey building (motel) will contain 134 motel suites and 445 m2 of ancillary floor space, comprising reception, offices, dining and kitchen areas.
The basement will contain building plant, a housekeeping store and staff room, and the top storey will contain a 3-bedroom dwelling for use by a manager.
The 17-storey new office tower will contain 13,568 m2 of office space, principally in the 12 upper levels of the building. Two basement parking levels and 6 levels of parking above ground will accommodate 409 car bays, two loading bays and 21 motor cycle parking bays. One bay at ground level will be designated for mini-buses. A bicycle store and change rooms will be included at ground level.
