Working with Russian investors, the Turkish Development Company asked SHCA to design a 200,000 sq m mixed-use tower on a 150,000 sq m site. In central Moscow, not far from the Kremlin, the 80-story building will have 50 floors of Class A commercial space. A shared sky lobby will provide amenities to the offices below and the upper 20-floors of luxury apartments. The tower will rise above a two-story retail and entertainment podium that includes boutiques, restaurants, bars and a 3000 sq m casino. At the transition between the tower and podium, there will be a service hotel.

great tower! I was in Moscow nearly eighteen years ago as teenager.
I spent almost a month there.
It was amazing , but it was also just starting to boil over with the revolution.
At the time I did not understand all the signs of a dysfuctional economy, but now I do.

Big dreams are great, I just hope that all the growth in Moscow (and all of Russia) can keep the economic pace at a reasonable level.

Looks good judging from the rendering. Especially like the massing on this one in particular, but the facade's gonna make or break it. If it's shiny and reflective it'll look good, if it comes out darker then it should and a bit dull, then it'll just be decent.

320-330m great! i want know if project must be paused in winter because of cold weather in Moscow? Someone told me in Chongqing a skyscraper is paused because of cold weather(about 5 degree above zero), they were waiting for good weather condition for build a hard groundsill.

305m, 73f. 80f figure appeared at architector site www.shca.com, but now seems to be removed.

Contruction is not suspending during winter. There is no reason for that. Cold weather is not a problem.

May be you mixed up something. It is not enka project. it is tech-invest project, developer is summa. Enka building Naberezhnaya Tower. Block C (56f 252m) is going to have tallest floor in Europe when completed, if will be completed early of other projects.

Looks like they are setting up their staging area for construction to get started. Bringing in the trailers for the superintendants and the dumpsters. Should indicate foundation work to begin shortly.

thanks for the money figures, I'm interested in comparing costs for buildings across countries, and see how much of a difference it makes from building in western richer countries and in Eastern Europe, and other developing nations.
Because the biggest difference I can think of are labor costs

Funny, I guess we've finally stepped into an era when supertalls don't get designed as thoughtfully as they should be. I have no problems with 12 IBC though, it looks very up-to-date .

Moscow has only 25 completely clear days, 164 partly cloudy and 176 overcast days in a year. So yes, quite short of clear days, but not always gloomy. :)

i think they are a "little bit" out of time-planning. official they´ll complete these tower end 2008.....not realy, or ?

10 floors until now........i think........they´ll complete it in fall 2009 !

Agree. Core looks too gigantic compared to them, but nice tower and construction seems to be going well.

Same as with other ENKA towers (Naberezhnaya Tower, Imperia Tower) the core will be reduced in size several times.

Simple, but enormous and beautiful!!!!

another question: does anybody have something like a new timetable or information about the finishing dates of the towers of moscow city? There are some older proposed dates, but some of them seem far too ambitious..

oli83, i forgot to take another objective, so it was rather difficult to find good vantage point to get an overview of the whole tower
it is visible that the tower has grown much when you see the whole tower

Fine complex. Moscow is on the way to acquiring the highest and most massive skyline in Europe, and most spectacular possibly.

are those 2 box towers higher dan the tower next to ?The most left tower is the tallest skyscraper in Europe now.
The right box tower will become the tallest in Europe soon. (not yet)
